Meat Makers Beef Original Hot 25g – heat that arrives after the sweetness

Meat Makers Beef Original Hot 25g is a spicy beef jerky in a single-serve 25 g bag. The Meat Makers start from the same honey and soy marinade as the rest of their Original range, then load it with spices so the heat builds behind the flavour instead of flattening it. Rich, smooth and warm — bring a drink.

Why the Hot one is worth it

Heat with a backbone: honey, red wine, prunes and pineapple give the spice something to sit on. You taste the beef first, and the burn turns up afterwards.

41.4 g of protein per 100 g: with 4.1 g of fat per 100 g, this is a lean snack that happens to be exciting.

Gluten free and pocket-sized: The Meat Makers declare it gluten free, and 25 g is a portion rather than a project.

Who makes it

The Meat Makers produce their jerky at UAB DORA in Šiauliai, Lithuania. Beef ham makes up 68.24% of this recipe, marinated with honey, soy sauce, red wine, fruit and a generous hand of spices before it is dried.

Taste: sweet and savoury on the way in, properly spicy on the way out.

Texture: smooth and tender, the same easy chew as the rest of the Original range.

Perfect for

Beer o’clock: spicy jerky and a cold lager is a combination that needs no defending.

Desk snacking: a 25 g bag is a quick, savoury reset in the middle of a long afternoon.

Chilli-head gifting: drop one in the bag of whoever puts hot sauce on absolutely everything.

Frequently asked

How hot is it? Warm rather than punishing. There is a clear kick, but the sweet marinade keeps it comfortable for most people.

Is it gluten free? Yes, The Meat Makers declare it gluten free. It contains soy and may contain traces of sulphites, sesame seeds, celery, mustard and nuts.

Does it need refrigerating? No — it is shelf stable unopened. Store it cool and dry, and finish it once opened.
