Not like any jerky I've tried before and I've tried almost every variety on here. It's very heavy on the vinegar, the taste is not meaty, its just a mix of sour and acidity. You don't feel the garlic at all. I almost wonder if I got a spoiled batch, it was that bad.

Biltong is indeed different from beef jerky as the recipe always includes vinegar which is acidic and makes the flavour sour. We're 99,99% sure that the product was totally fine, the world of flavours in biltong is just very different compared to jerky.
