Chokay BIO Bar Amazing Dark is an organic dark chocolate bar built around cocoa rather than sugar. Chokay uses a minimum of 54% cocoa, creamy cocoa butter and inulin fibre, so the sweetness you taste comes from the cocoa, the fibre and a touch of natural vanilla. It is fair trade and vegan, and it is aimed squarely at people who want proper dark chocolate on a weeknight.
What makes this bar different
Sweetness from fibre, not sugar: There is no added sugar in the recipe at all. Chicory inulin does the work sugar normally would, which is an unusual way to build a chocolate bar.
Cocoa you can actually taste: With a minimum of 54% cocoa, the flavour leans roasted and rounded rather than sharp. Cocoa butter does the heavy lifting on the melt.
