Indiana Jerky Beef Peppered is a traditional type of dried beef and - in contrast to the new US version - does not contain any added sugar. This not only preserves the hearty and finer taste, the nutritional values of the Indiana Jerky products go far better with any balanced, more sustainable diet.

Short history of Indiana Jerky:

The brand Indiana Jerky was born from love and interest to childhood stories which mention Native American's who dried meat.

Today they are the largest manufacturer of dried meat in the Czech Republic and simultaneously one of the three biggest producers in Europe. That's quite a journey they took from childhood stories!

Ingredients: Beef, salt, natural mineral salt, sugar, SOY PROTEIN HYDROLYSATE, yeast extract, wine vinegar, pepper 0,6%, aroma, smoke aroma, garlic, preservative: sodium nitrite.
It takes 225g of Beef to make 100g of Beef Jerky. Packed in protective atmosphere N2, CO2. Storage: no cooling. Occasional white film on product does not impair quality. Consume within 48 hours from opening. Oxygen absorber in packaging is not edible.

I've just received my order last saturday !! Three weeks from Europe, congratulations for DHL !!!
the product is good but drier and harder than the one I bought in the USA.

We are sorry that the delivery took so long but it looks like DHL had routed your parcel to Austria by mistake first. This luckily happens very rarely.

Really peppered!

It's exactly the same as the natural variety, but with tons of pepper.

At the beginning I can't really notice the spicy nature, it kicks in later, and stay in the mouth for a few minutes.

I would recommend this variety to slow down eating and avoid binge eating a whole pack of jerky. After a few pieces, usually I had enough and go on doing something else. If you want to fuel up with jerky, I would recommend this variety less, it's quite a good dose of spices, which I wouldn't want during an intensive exercise in my stomach and blood flow.

Otherwise, the Indiana jerky is thinly sliced, quite dry, and takes effort to chew. This is beneficial for eating slower.
