Schmeckt sehr gut, ausgewogene Gewürze, selten was zähes dabei. Gute Größe die Streifen
Schmeckt sehr lecker, ausgewogene Gewürze, gute Festigkeit
Myk og god på smak. Det nærmeste jeg har funnet som er samme type som Jack Links. De fleste andre er tørre, smakløse ,knallharde tannlegeregninger.
Siden de har klistra trynet til mr beast på jack links så blir denne en god erstatter.
About what you'd expect from salted, dried fish.
Good if you're looking for something hard and salty, but it does have 13g of salt per 100g, which is fierce.
Probably a bit too expensive for what it offers to me, and I'd rather buy something else.
Actual product is nothing like the package image, to the point it's almost false advertising. Instead of the juicy, crispy bacon-looking picture, you get these slabs that are completely dry. Product is light on seasoning and only tastes vaguely sour, and the meat feels low quality; I've had a better experience with most other Meat Makers products. Very tough and hard to tear and chew, and I had to force myself to finish the one bag I bought and did not get any enjoyment out of it.
It feels more like chewing on a piece of leather hide and not something meant for human consumption.
I think this product has little to no mainstream appeal, and I can't think of anyone who would willingly buy this.
Maybe if you really like tough meat?
What all of these share is that they use excellent cuts of beef—you can really tell that the makers only chose the best parts to create this jerky; the texture is very consistent.
Tasty — Dry and very slightly sweet, and the cuts are somewhat thick. It really just tastes like high-quality dried beef and you can taste beef with every bite. A significant step up from most of the beef jerky from East European makers I've tried (they felt much more processed and usually had worse meat). Top-class product.
Teriyaki & Garlic — significantly harder than Tasty and Spicy, and I couldn't really taste the namesake flavors.
Still good though, because of the meat itself.
Spicy — Not overly hot but slightly hotter than I'd like and the heat competes with the taste of the meat.
Goddamn Spicy — they weren't kidding with this. The initial heat isn't that much, actually less than Spicy, I felt, but it lingers for hours after that. Has a nice, slightly smoky flavor.
The variety of this taster pack is nice, but next time I'd probably just buy Tasty only, which has a satisfying and inoffensive flavor that any meat lover will probably appreciate. After eating a 60g bag, you just wish you had more of it.
Only drawback is that it's a little expensive, but you undoubtedly get what you pay for.
Around 10g carbs and 50g protein per 100g.
Bought this expecting brown, hard, and dry strips like the pictures suggest, but there are also bags of a lighter-colored and softer meat mixed in. The latter has a different flavor that was unpleasant to me, and the texture of that meat is rubbery like cartilage.
Not sure if it's a different curing method or different part of the squid, but the meats are different enough that Sea Snacks should not be selling them as the same product. Of the 40 bags I bought, around 12 seem to be the lighter kind.
The regular kind is quite good and what you can expect from dried squid, but I probably won't buy this again because I can't risk getting the 'bad' kind, especially not at this price.
Has 8g of salt per 100g, and 65g protein, so you'll want to gulp down like 1L of water after eating this.
Turkey Mustard/Honey — slightly moist, and is sweet. Didn't like it that much.
Pork Original — similar to the above and has thick cuts with good texture.
Beef Original — has a slightly sharp taste like ginger.
Sweet Chilli — slightly hot and has some lingering heat. Seems a bit drier than the other flavors.
Dried Marbled Beef Steak — thick slabs that can be easily torn. Slightly unpleasant smell like leather. 200g is too much.
Beef Steak Original — meat quality seems worse than the above and doesn't tear as cleanly; slightly salty and peppery.
Dried Beef Steak Peppered — just meat, salt, and pepper. Has a great texture and probably the best overall beef product I've tasted from this store.
Probably my overall favorite product in the store. Comes in hard, thin slices but not as hard as the beef version. Salty and has a light, inoffensive flavor. Texture is similar to chewing on crispy bacon.
Protein content is top class.
Very similar to Indiana beef jerky in how it's very hard and salty but has higher protein content than that brand (~50g vs. ~60g per 100g).
Also has a meat smell/flavor that can be slightly unpleasant.
Comes in thick chunks but meat has nice texture. Slightly smoky and peppery, and not too dry.
The taste wasn't my favorite, but you can't beat this price:quantity ratio if you're just looking to get your money's worth. 125g per bag is a bit much though.
Good quality meat like the Classic version. Thick pieces that aren't too dry, but it doesn't have the smoky flavor of Classic. I'm not sure what this was supposed to be but the flavor is very faint.
Best price:quantity ratio but 125g per bag is too much for one sitting.
Strong smell when opening the bag; something like ginger, which you can also taste. Like most Meat Makers products, the quality of the meat is good. Comes in thick slabs that you can tear with your hands or teeth if you go with the grain.
Thin, rectangular pieces that are very hard; probably the hardest meat I've tried in this shop.
Without exaggeration, you can cut your tongue on this if you're not careful.
It does have the highest amount of protein of the Indiana meat products, but I'd prefer any of the others over this.
It's Jack Link's, so not much to say about its quality. I'd rather have most other brands in the shop.
20g of carbs and 35g of protein per 100g, which isn't great if you're looking to bulk up.
Not as dry as some other brands like Indiana and the pieces are thicker, but I had to dig out a string from between my teeth a few times.
Slightly spicy but high in carbs.
