A must try for any jerky lover. Indiana Biltong is dried meat produced in an African style and therefore has a different texture as as regular jerky. It's also seasoned with a special marinade which is slightly spicy.


This is Indiana Jerky:

  • Always high in protein and minimal amount of sugar
  • Wide selection of jerkies to suite every flavor
  • Chicken, turkey, pork and tuna available in addition to beef jerky
  • Meat from European Union, except Tuna which comes from the Pacific Ocean

Shory history of Indiana Jerky:

The brand Indiana Jerky was born from love and interest to childhood stories which mention Native American's who dried meat. 

Today they are the largest manufacturer of dried meat in the Czech Republic and simultaneously one of the three biggest producers in Europe. That's quite a journey they took from childhood stories!

Ingredient list

Ingredients: Beef, apple cider vinegar, humectant: glycerin, sea salt, yeast extract, black pepper, ground onion, spices.

 

It takes 220g of Beef to make 100g of Beef Biltong. Packed in protective atmosphere N2, CO2. Storage: no cooling. Occasional white film on product does not impair quality. Consume within 48 hours from opening. Oxygen absorber in packaging is not edible.

This has become my staple - caloric intake monitoring made convenient. So when my rations run out, my body demands more. More fattier cuts would definitely enhance the overall flavour and meat macronutrient requirements. I would definitely purchase a fattier variant of the Indiana Biltong Original!

Thank you for your review! Beef is naturally rather low in fat so we are afraid it wouldn't be possible to produce a fattier biltong from beef. You could try mixing some pork jerky from Kuivalihakundi or Barazzo to it in order to create a mix perfect for you.
