Butter chicken in jerky form — and yes, it has actual butter. Kuivalihakundi takes Finnish chicken breast, builds a curry cure around it (cumin, turmeric, cardamom, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, cayenne, chili, ginger, garlic), adds tomato purée and lemon juice for the curry-base depth, and finishes it with real butter and milk protein for the buttery richness that gives butter chicken its name.

Indian flavours, Finnish technique

The genius of butter chicken — and Indian cooking generally — is in the slow build of dry spices that bloom together into something deeply aromatic. Kuivalihakundi captures that profile in jerky form: the spice warmth is all there, the chicken is the carrier, and the slow-dry process intensifies everything.

What's in it

The full list is long because real butter chicken is naturally complex:

Chicken breast (Finland), gluten-free soy sauce, tomato purée, fermented soy product, sugar syrup, lemon juice, butter (from milk), ground ginger, garlic powder, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, cardamom, coriander, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, butter flavouring, maltodextrin, milk protein.

That's a real curry-spice profile, not a "curry powder" shortcut.

  • 64 g protein per 100 g — outstanding
  • 6.2 g fat per 100 g
  • Gluten-free
  • Made in Finland with Finnish chicken
  • 4 g sugar per 100 g
  • Allergens: contains soy AND milk (lactose) — important if you're dairy-sensitive

Who this is for

People who order butter chicken too often. Indian-food fans who want a portable curry fix. Anyone curious about what happens when one of the world's great curries is concentrated into a snack. Pairs surprisingly well with a cold IPA, mango lassi if you happen to have one, or just on its own with a movie.

A 40 g bag delivers about 25 g of protein and roughly 25 minutes of slow, savoury, spice-warming chewing.
