A clean Finnish jerky for people who think most "Original" jerky tastes more like marinade than meat. Kuivalihakundi Original is Finnish beef roast slow-dried with gluten-free soy sauce, sugar syrup, garlic and black pepper — five ingredients, no fillers, no E-number list, no flavour-enhancer chemistry.

Made the slow Finnish way

Kuivaliha literally means "dried meat" in Finnish — a tradition Nordic farmers and hunters have used for centuries to get protein through long winters. Kuivalihakundi takes that tradition and applies it to Finnish farm-raised beef sliced from prime roast cuts. The meat is salt-cured, marinated, and dried slowly in low-temperature drying chambers.

What's actually in it

The whole list, in plain Finnish style: beef roast, gluten-free soy sauce, sugar syrup, garlic, black pepper. The sugar syrup is part of the cure (it helps with the savoury balance and shelf life), not a glaze you'll taste — sugar comes in at 5.1 g per 100 g, restrained compared to most American jerky.

  • 50.2 g of protein per 100 g — among the highest in the category
  • Gluten-free, made with GF soy sauce
  • Made in Finland with Finnish-origin beef
  • 5.1 g sugar per 100 g — present but not candy-coated
  • Allergen: contains soy

Why people keep coming back

There's a reason Kuivalihakundi has the loyalty it does in Finland. It tastes like beef. The cure stays in its lane and lets the meat lead. The texture is dense and properly chewy — built for slow snacking rather than crisp-bag inhaling. Pair it with a Finnish lager, throw it in a hiking pack, or stash a 50 g bag in the desk drawer for the 3pm protein dip.
