Meat Makers Gourmet Mix (6x30g) — three flavours, two bags of each
The Gourmet Mix is a six-bag box of jerky from Lithuanian producer The Meat Makers, holding two bags each of three recipes: Gourmet Beef Original, Gourmet Pork Original and Gourmet Turkey Honey Mustard. The Gourmet line is the marinade-forward half of their catalogue — where the Sports bags keep things stripped back, these are cured properly and taste of it. Six bags is the smaller of the two mixed boxes, which makes it the sensible way to find out whether the line is for you.

What is in the box
Gourmet Beef Original is the deep, classic one — tender strips with a rich savoury weight to them. Gourmet Pork Original is softer and rounder, with a gentle smokiness that beef does not have. Gourmet Turkey Honey Mustard is the outlier and the reason people come back to this box: light white meat with a sweet-then-tangy finish that cuts against the other two nicely.
Who it's for
It makes a genuinely good present, because three flavours in a box reads as a gift where one bag reads as an afterthought. It also works as a household box for people with different opinions about dinner, and as the thing you put out when guests arrive and the alternative is a bowl of crisps.

How is this different from the eight-bag mix? The eight-bag box adds a fourth recipe, Sweet Chilli Gourmet Beef. This one is three flavours and a smaller commitment.
How should I store it? Keep the unopened bags somewhere cool and dry — no refrigeration needed. Once a bag is open, reseal it and finish it within a few days.
Can I split the bags up? Easily. Each one is sealed on its own, so the box travels well between a desk drawer, a car and a rucksack.
