Chokay BIO Bar Extra Dark Caramel Peanut is an organic extra dark chocolate bar with crunchy peanuts, natural caramel and a hint of sea salt, made without added sugar or sweeteners. It is the salted-caramel-peanut idea rebuilt on extra dark chocolate: rich and deep instead of sticky. Chokay are generous with the peanuts, which you notice immediately.
What makes this one different
The darkest base in the line-up: a minimum of 65% cocoa, so the caramel and the salt have something solid to push against instead of melting into sweetness.
Peanut-heavy: enough roasted peanut in every square that the crunch is the main event. It is also why the bar gives you something to chew on rather than something that just melts away.
No added sugar or sweeteners: inulin fibre does the job that sugar usually would, and it is where the dense, slow melt comes from.
