Chokay BIO Bar Milky Hazel – organic milk chocolate with roasted hazelnuts
Chokay BIO Bar Milky Hazel runs roasted hazelnuts through smooth organic milk chocolate, made with no added sugar and no sweeteners. The mild sweetness comes from plant fibre, which leaves room for the cocoa and, more to the point, for the nuts. It is a 70 g bar, Fairtrade certified and wrapped without plastic.

Who makes it
Chokay is a Dutch chocolate maker based in Breda, in the Netherlands. Milky Hazel is the nutty one in their organic BIO line, and the hazelnuts are roasted rather than raw, which is where the depth comes from.
Taste: warm roasted hazelnut runs right through it, with the milk chocolate underneath as a creamy base rather than shouting over the top.
Texture: a creamy melt with crunchy hazelnut pieces turning up square after square.
