The Grizzly Foods Tasting Pack is six 50 g bags of German beef jerky, one of each flavour in the core range. It is the sensible way to find your favourite without committing to a whole case of something you have never tried. Grizzly Foods dries all six from German beef with natural seasoning and no artificial additives.
What is in the box
- Original: pure dried beef with salt and pepper. The purist's bag, and the one that tells you what the meat itself tastes like.
- Cracked Pepper: coarse black pepper with warm coriander behind it. The bestseller of the range.
- Garden Greens: green, herbal and aromatic, like the rub off a Sunday roast.
- Lemon Ginger: zesty and warming at once, with a Southeast Asian slant nobody expects from dried beef.
- Burn Baby Burn: smoked chilli heat with a habanero finish. The one you hand to anyone who claims they like heat.
- Teriyaki: savoury-sweet and Japanese-leaning, the closest thing in the range to a glaze.

Grizzly Foods is a German producer that dries beef slowly and seasons it with herbs and spices instead of additives. The whole range shares one base, so the six bags are a genuine comparison of seasoning rather than six different products wearing the same label.
Taste and texture
The chew is consistent across the range: firm, dry and properly beefy, with enough give that you are not fighting it. What changes is the top note, and it changes more than you would expect. Original and Cracked Pepper sit at the savoury end; Lemon Ginger and Teriyaki pull towards sweet and aromatic; Burn Baby Burn is off on its own being difficult.
