Spiciness

Naga jerky for grown-ups. The Bhut Jolokia (a.k.a. Naga) sits around 1,000,000 Scoville units — properly extreme. Kuivalihakundi's Hot Naga doesn't try to set a record, but it absolutely delivers the deep, fruity, slow-burning heat that makes the Naga such a beloved chili among people who actually like spice rather than people who just like internet bragging rights.

Why Naga, not just "hot"

Most "extreme" jerky leans on chili extract — concentrated capsaicin that delivers raw burn with no flavour. Naga peppers, by contrast, have an actual flavour: sweet, faintly tropical, smoky on the back. Kuivalihakundi uses real Naga Jolokia (with sugar cane vinegar) in the cure, so you get the heat AND the flavour, layered over Finnish beef that can hold its own.

The build

  • Six ingredients: Finnish beef roast, gluten-free soy sauce, sugar syrup, garlic, black pepper, Naga Jolokia chili
  • 50.2 g protein per 100 g
  • Gluten-free
  • Made in Finland with Finnish-origin beef
  • 5.1 g sugar per 100 g
  • Allergen: contains soy

What to expect

First few seconds: you taste the beef and the cure — soy, garlic, pepper. Then the heat arrives, builds, and settles into a rolling warmth that takes its time leaving. Not face-melting, not hospital-trip hot, but a proper chili experience that beats most "Carolina Reaper" gimmick jerky on flavour every time.

For the spice-chasing friend, the Discord chat that argues about Scoville ratings, or any day you want your snack to remind you it's there. Cold lager and a sense of humour recommended.
